THE BLACK DIRT CYCLE

Between 2009 and 2011, I created a series of plays in New York's Black Dirt Region. The plays explored immigration, local soil, and the stories of the men and women who grow and pick our food. They have been performed at festivals, on farms, in farmers markets, and in migrant labor communities.
